D.I.A.'s GLOBAL ROCK SHOWCASE ASSOCIATES:

D.I.A. has a history of helping up and coming bands. For instance, 5 years back we gave press to Hidden In Plain View when they were an upstart, in Fantra Zine. Not taking all the credit [:-)], but today HIPV is a very successful Emo band. Point!! D.I.A. has great ears. Now, every band has to start some place. The rules were drastically changed but D.I.A. continues to give noviced to intermediate krews an op to play whether they kick ass or suck. Benefits include invaluable promotion such as flyer and poster billing, press and radio mentions, interviews and spins for a few. Some bands got per diem, gas, accommodation and meals. Y'all don't get any support like that on the warp Tours. Bands like DNA made the cover of their hometown newspaper after playing a few Global Rock Showcases. Grinding Faith from LI after opening in string of premier venues started to get bookings in pro venues on their own. Am Rev2 got booking at CBGB afterappearance at local NYC Global Rock Showcase. Other club promoters like Joey Mahoney (Philly) seeked them out also... D.I.A. gives credibility!! Special thanks to Hawaiian Lyon, Justin of Richland - WA, Stereo Cell, Grinding Faith, *Weapons Of Mass Persuasion for their support. *Thanks for opening your homes to us. Haven't forgotten the krews that kucfed up also. Especially that bumbo claawt idiot with the screaming banshee "high class van" (with 4 dry-rot tires) who thought he could have left us in Bozeman, MT. How is your back doing? Screw the lumpy one kcuf from Wilmington, NC too. You are not as mad as D.I.A. idiot. Y'all had your 15 seconds of fame you lying red-faced drunken jokers. Go whitemale someone else. TRUTHS & RIGHTS are at the center!! Shouts to "Angry Mike" Briley the Hardcore Chef. Thanx dude. Bigup Josh Cardinali!! Below are some of the krews who played D.I.A.'s Global Rock Showcase "PUNKY REGGAE SKA DUB PARTY..".
