I have started doing stengthening exercises Bill 'Superfoot' Wallace prescribes in the first video in "Videos Featuring Bill 'Superfoot' Wallace" (Friday, October 16, 2009), which I am going to reproduce below.


So far, I am only doing the first two routines, and boy, they feel hard!

What I have realized is that I seem to feel the burn in the outer sides of my butt, which probably means gluteus medius and possibly guteus minimus too. See GetBodySmart.com's page for gluteus medius and that for gluteus minimus. There is also an excellent illustration at PreventDisease.com.

I do not think I need to do anything more than Bill's routines, but here are a few exercises to strengthen these muscles that I found on YouTube.


This one looks part of leg routines found in Pilates. There are others.
