Maybe some of you have been wondering what's been going on with this project since you last heard of it, maybe not? So here's the deal...

We played our first show in December 2008 as an instrumental 3 piece being myself on drums, John Grant on guitar, and Case Calhoun on bass after we had recorded a 3 song demo. Christian Fillippo was supposed to come and sing on the demo but the timing was bad and I had to do it myself in January 2009. During this time John was questioning whether he wanted to do the band or not, and I started jamming with Jim Kreager from the band Empires. The fine young chap would make the 6 hour drive down from Minneapolis to practice with me. During this time I got asked to play drums in Trap Them and the opportunity was so good I couldn't say no (touring with Napalm Death, fuck yeah!). We decided to play a show in March of 2009 as a five piece, myself on drums, John Grant and Jim Kreager on guitar, Case Calhoun on bass, and Christian Fillippo on vocals. The show was a great success and we had a great time, but there was nothing following it up. I left for tour with Trap Them and was out from 3/09-8/09 with 2 weeks off. John joined up with This Specific Dream, and Case had started playing in Half Gorilla and Northless, as well as playing bass in Shit Outta Luck, Jim went back to Minneapolis is playing in his band Empires and doing school, and Christian has been focusing on his art career.

So I get back from tour, I'm no longer playing with Trap Them anymore, and we do 3 last Harlots shows, and I start making phone calls to make this band happen again. I find that Case has been kicked out of all 3 of his bands and I'll probably never see the guy again in my life, Christian is done playing in bands, Jim can't make it down to jam, and John is busy with This Specific Dream and now playing bass in Northless and has no real interest in making this project happen at this point. I start jamming with Protestant, but then their drummer wants to come back. etc. At this point what am I supposed to do? Say fuck it, or do I try to find a whole new band?

I'm going to start this band up again, but the way it should have been from the start. I write all of these songs on guitar first and I have written all of the lyrics thus far, so I want to play guitar and sing, and I'm looking for a second guitarist, bass player, and most importantly, a drummer. The songs haven't stopped flowing, I have another 11 songs at this point in addition to the 5 songs on the myspace. Anyone interested please hit me up via myspace or email.
