1st Amendment Records is pleased to announce the signing of Texas rock band The Heroine.
The
Heroine --featuring vocalist Lynnwood King, guitarist “The Kid”
Luevano, guitarist Dibby Disaster, bassist Wes “The Guhly” Vargulish,
and drummer Johnny Lightning-- have been touring and spreading their
message of rock n roll in dirty dives and large arenas the past 7
years. Rocking the hearts of every man, woman, and child they meet. The
band rocked so hard in 2008 it captured the attention of Rock Legends
Mötley Crüe who along with Guitar Center, Gibson Guitars and Fame Cast
helped to push the band into the national spotlight. Doing so has
earned them a number of endorsements and select dates on the 2009 Van's
Warped Tour.
The label debut has been released on all digital
retailers and for national distribution. Phillip "Scrappy" Gordon, of
1st Amendment Records said, “These are exciting times”. Scrappy
co-produced this album along with The Heroine. Scrappy stated "This
band goes hand in hand with what 1st Amendment Records is all about."
Lenny
King said of their signing, “The Heroine has always been and will
always be a hard working band. Joining forces with a hard working label
like 1st Amendment (Records) is something I think will be very fruitful
for all of us. Now it’s time to do what we do best, write KILLER songs
and ILLUMINATE stages all across the world.”
The Heroine
recorded their 1st Amendment Records debut at the famed 6th Street
Studios in San Antonio, TX. The band is currently managed by I Am King
Management. For more information on this Texas rock outfit please visit
