Looze Control is a Hip Hop dance crew competition that evolves. The competition contains two highly Intensifying rounds different from each other that challenges each crew to evolve and adapt from start to finish, they are the State Championships and the Crew Championships.

The State Championship allow between 6 to 8 member crew performing a three minute choreographed routine. The performance must present a straight hip hop routine without the use of props or costumes and all members must be performing on stage for the full duration. The State Championships is designed so that all competing crews are judged on being raw on an even level and that no one crew have an advantage. The competition is judged by a panel of 6 judges that determines their ranking with the top crews competing in the Looze Control Crew Championships.

The Crew Championship consists of the top crews selected from the State Championship and allows the crews to assemble 6-25 members for a six minute theatrical hip hop routine. The routine encourages crews to use props and costumes to enhance the performance and members to go in and out of the stage performance area. The Crew Championship is designed to judge how well crews can adapt to change and put together a theatrical routine to their advantage. The eight panel judge considers all the factors of change while using the same principles of the criteria. The highest and lowest scores are not factored into their finals score so that it eliminates irrational scores. Only then determines Australia’s Looze Control Crew Champions.
