The four of us have been busy playing a bunch of shows and making a record. Our first official album, entitled The Superficial Deep, is finished and set to release the first week of August. We are really excited about this thing and can't wait for you to hear it. Along with the whole release of the album, we are also heading back out on the road for the hi8us 8/08 International Tour.

First things first... We're having a big CD Release Party at The Middle East Upstairs in Cambridge on Friday, August 8th. This will be the first night the CD will be available. Our good friend John Doney is going to get the show started with a set of his excellent acoustic arrangements, and then we'll get on stage and play 'til close. This show has been a long time coming, and we want to get everyone out for a night of partying like we all need. Drag all your friends to this one. We have some good things planned that will completely blow your mind... its the tour opener... definitely come! Advance tickets are available online (see our Gigs page) or at the Middle East Box Office for just $10 (they'll be $12 at the door), leaving plenty of cash in your wallet for beverages... and plenty of copies of our new CD!

Immediatly following the gig (literally, we will start driving at 3am), we will embark on the hi8us 8/08 International Tour. The trip will take us through at least 11 cities (and all the places in between) as we make our way out to the West Coast and back once again. We are really looking forward to being together to play night after night for a little while. We will have our newly-pressed album in tow to distribute to the people of this fine nation (and Canada). All of our cofirmed dates are listed on our Gigs page... with a few more to follow. Please rally your friends from around the country to come check us out if we're in their town!

Until then, we have a few nice upcoming dates to play. We are back down on Cape Cod this weekend, Saturday, July 19th, playing at Land Ho! in Orleans, MA. The following Saturday, July 26th, we return to New York City for a night at The Knitting Factory with our friends The Bill Owens Five.
