FAR (thinly veiled as Hot Little Pony) recorded a cover of the 90's R&B hit 'Pony' by Ginuwine. it is AWESOME.

If you know me and my taste, you know i am beyond excited that these guys are coming back. I got into them in 1998, JUST as they broke up.

And if you know who they are, then you must be stoked too!

The singer of Far is Jonah Matranga, who you may know from any of his other bands: Onelinedrawing, New End Original, and Gratitude. He's been one of my biggest musical influences. It all started 10 years ago when I heard Far's "Water & Solutions". It's an amazing record.

Far is one of those bands who were ahead of their time. And even though they didn't achieve huge success, they inspired many of the bands that did. They were a big part of the mid-late 90s Sacramento movement, along with Deftones and Will Haven.

They're playing two US shows next week, and touring the UK next month. new website will be unveiled on October 14th at www.thebandfar.com
