I guess it's been awhile. I've often thought about writing. Obviously, that's as far as it got until today.

If you've been interested in my work with Kaddisfly over the last 3 years, you should know that the band has decided to enter an indefinite hiatus. Kile (bassist) moved to Denver with his wife. Rather than continue as a four piece or recruit a new member, they decided to put Kaddisfly on hold for the time being and start something new. That something new is Water & Bodies.

While it is sad that the next record (which was shaping up to be quite spectacular) won't come anytime soon, the new band is very promising. They have already done pre-production on an EP, which will be recorded next week at Rain City Audio.

Those who loved Kaddisfly will love it, and those who didn't quite take to Kaddisfly may find Water & Bodies to be enjoyable. The next show is at Berbati's Pan on March 3rd with our friends in the excellent band Farewell Flight, along with Gavin Castleton and our buds in Asphalt Thieves.

----------

At the end of last year, I finally caved in to requests and watched Lost. Glad I did. I watched seasons 1-4 in about a month. Season 5 is fantastic so far. Don't know why it took me so long to watch. I was pretty sure I'd like it anyway. Now I get what all the pants-pissing is about. I enjoy Matthew Fox's portrayal of Jack, and I find Evangeline Lilly quite lovely.

I've had deeper thoughts to share.....but, none are croppin' up in the old skull right now.

So, here are some photos from the last 6 months:

I am very dispondent about Kfly going down... And just when things were finally getting somewhere. Have to say I'm a little mad at Kile, but I understand I guess. The set sail house pictures make me miss the beach... *sigh* I can't wait to move back.
