Apparently there's a lot of confusion about our name.  We're a pretty easy going bunch, and we never say anything when, more often than not, people get our name wrong.  We have been billed or otherwise referred to as:  Scribble Monster, Scribblemonster, Scribble Monsters, Scribblemonsters, The Scribble Monsters, Scribbly Monsters, The Scribbles, The Monsters, Scribble Masters, ScribbleJim, ScribbleKitty, The Doodle Buddies (huh?) and countless other Scribble names.  But you know, it's been five years now and I think it's time to set the record straight.  So, to clarify:

The band's name is "ScribbleMonster" - one word, capital S, capital M.  It's as simple as that.    

I'll take the blame for a lot of the confusion.  When I perform solo, I am ScribbleJim (my full name is ScribbleJim from ScribbleMonster).  ScribbleJim is a member of ScribbleMonster.  So are ScribbleJayne, ScribbleJoyce, ScribbleBrett and ScribbleBrian.  Then there are the ScribbleCharacters:  ScribbleMonster, ScribblePiggy, ScribbleBunny, ScribbleKitty and others.  They would be "ScribbleMonster & His Pals" (not "friends" "gang" or "buddies" - although, I kind of like "buddies").  ScribbleMonster & His Pals don't play live shows.  ScribbleMonster (the band) will often perform the songs of ScribbleMonster & His Pals live.  That's an awful lot of Scribbles to keep track of.  I understand that it's confusing.  So again, to simplify and aid understanding:

When the band plays live or records without character voices, we're "ScribbleMonster."  When we record with the ScribbleCharacters, they're known as "ScribbleMonster & His Pals."  When in doubt, "ScribbleMonster" will always do.

I apologize for any bewilderment, suffering or distress the whole name thing may have caused you.  I hope my explanation helps.
