Hello all,
 
First off, thanks for your patience.  It’s been a while since most of you have heard anything from us, but still we have been busy.  We’ve been recording a new album with Jen Lee, who just had a baby last week.  We’re almost through with it.  I think we even have a name for it, but I won’t disclose it until later.  We’ve also been tightening up a new crew and a new sound, which we’re crazy about.  The musefullous Drew Crenshaw, who plays guitar in Mouth Karate and Evil Wizard Eyes, is now playing bass for Giant Bear because the more thoughtless Robert bought a very small but good sounding guitar and insists on getting his money’s worth out of it. Jeff’s fingers got too fidgety to hold a pick, anyway, so he’s freed them for a while letting them roll and hammer on the five steel strings of a banjo.  Knuckles went to San Antonio where he bought an early nineties model firebird.  Surprisingly, we couldn’t hear his drums from there, so Tootsie Bell, who has filled Memphis with her sculptured art and silver jewelry since a long time ago is filling the seat on his old thrown. She doesn’t hit as hard but she’s much sexier: much sexier.  Jana’s still hollering and bringing hell on the cello, but we’re worried because she’s been learning the guitar and if she finishes her lessons everyday we’re going to have to send Robert up the river to the accounting or the merchandising department.  Good luck, Bobby.  Anyway, we’ll be in a town near you soon enough.  We’re always playing some bar here in Memphis, so make the trip if you can’t wait.  If you stay patient we’ll bring something you’re going to like.
