Last night in China!

Today we picked up her visa for immigrant entry to the US. They said that as soon as she steps foot on US soil, she's an American citizen, and as the US has no dual citizenship agreement with China, she will no longer be a Chinese citizen. That US soil should be sometime tomorrow, I have no idea what time we are supposed to arrive in San Francisco... We leave the hotel at 6:30 a.m., fly to Beijing, and leave there at 3:30, and that's 11 hours. We'll be flying against the international date line, so it'll be a really really long Saturday...

Before that today, we went to a couple temples... The Temple of the 6 Banyan Trees, which no longer has said trees, and the Temple of the 5 Genies (or 5 Celestial Beings, depending on where you read). The latter also has a Chinese title, but I forget it at the moment, sorry.

Not much else to report, we just finished souveneir shopping tonight after dinner, and have been at the hotel since. I'm gonna pack up stuff after this; mom wanted to pack in the morning, and if we're leaving here at 6:30 a.m., that's just asking for something to go wrong.
