***UPDATE***

The Final Album By: THE EMPIRE HIDEOUS
As it stands right now, 13 songs have currently
been recorded for the last HIDEOUS album.
Though a title for the album has not yet been
decided upon, here is one title I’ve considered:
* The Time Has Come

Here are a few song titles that will be on the album:
*Dancing Dead Rhythms
*Pretty Faces
*Rise Of Cthulhu
*Sahara
*Oblivion: 3 yrs later
*Serpents Trance
*Stand Off
*Gliding (working title)
*New Sun (working title)

After almost 3 long years of working from scratch, the
music for the album is almost done. Once the music
tracks are laid down, the next step will be to head into
a different recording studio to lay down the vocal tracks
to everything. From that point on, it’s all down hill. Then
a mix down, mastering, maybe a remix and that’s it.
The album is finally nearing its completion.

HIDEOUS Film Documentary:
For those of you who haven’t already heard, several months
ago, I meet with a Director named Pawl BaZile, from Montclair
NJ, to discuss the making and release a film/..documentary based
on some entries from my book King Of An Empire To The Shoes
Of A Misfit. It would also include rare footage of live performances
by Empire Hideous, SpySociety99 and some extremely rare scenes
of me singing in the Misfits in 1998. Shortly after our meeting we
realized how we would soon be giving birth to a unique creation
of documentation that was historically cryptic, yet an incestuous
surplus of information.
Pawl then coined the title of this film:
HIDEOUS: Living The American Nightmare.
Although some of the ideas for this project have been slightly
altered from the original concept, the premise for the film is
still basically the same. This film will take its audience on a
journey through dreams, perseverance and the hardships of
being a musician in an underground band. Meeting ones heroes
and conquering ones goals while simultaneously walking the
tightrope of life’s realizations.
What’s more is the selection of interviews and special
appearances by members of the music industry.
Featuring interviews with:
Steve Zing (Danzig), Bobby Steele (Undead), Arturo Vega
(Ramones), Merle Allin (Murder Junkies), J-Sin Trioxin
(Mister Monster/..Wednesday 13), Michale Graves, J.V.
Bastard & Loki (Graves), Joe Buck, The Bouncing Souls,
Don Faratu (Tombs Tones), Mr. Jim (Misfits), Quincy Kirk
(Murphy’s Law) and many, many more.
Unfortunately, I can’t list the names of the other guests that
the Director is waiting on until they’re officially confirmed.
Production for this film started in May 2009, and is scheduled
to be released in summer 2010.
Please visit the myspace site, which includes photo journals
of guests as they were being interviewed for the film, as well
as info about the film and other stuff.

I'm glad here about both being worked on, but I am saddened that this will be the final Hideous album, though I do think I understand your reasons for it.  Keep up all the great work you do. I can't wait to see the doc also.
