The EMPIRE HIDEOUS final album update 11/1/09:
The
current music of the upcoming EMPIRE HIDEOUS album is nearly completed.
The only work that needs to be done at this point is the recording
session of the vocals to the music to finalize the layout completely.
From there on the mixing and mastering of the entire album will take
place and then it will be finished. However, as it stands right now at
this very moment, I have been unable to begin recording the vocals due
to an absolutely horrendous and excruciatingly painful toothache that
has prevented me from being able to sing anything at all. Since I do
not have any sort of dental insurance coverage, I am locked in this
unsympathetic situation and unable to continue any recording until this
pain passes or I die from the insidious torture that it’s subjecting me
to. TRUST ME, THIS REALLY SUCKS!!!!
In any case, here is a list of the songs that will be on the album in the order they will appear:

In
addition to releasing the final HIDEOUS album, Johnny Nickel and I have
decided to do two extra special bonuses for the finale. As a special
treat, will we be recording a remake cover of The Cars “Moving In
Stereo,” as a B-side release, and also re-mixing and re-mastering the
HIDEOUS songs “Two Minutes ‘til Midnight” & “Heaven Raining
Bullets” from the Say Your Prayers album. Improving them by 100% from
their original recordings. In conclusion, Johnny and I are still hard
at work completing the recordings for The Time Has Come and if it
weren’t for this ball breaking toothache from hell, we would’ve been so
much closer to completing the album for the sake of it’s release, I
assure you. I realize that so many of you have been very eager and
patiently waiting for this final release from EMPIRE HIDEOUS, but it
would seem as though things are what they are and that’s simply the way
it shall be. Without any financial backing from a record label and not
knowing a friendly dentist that would be willing to help a fella out in
dire need of a filling for his tooth, there’s simply nothing that can
be done to move this project along any faster than it’s already
snail-like, crawling speed. No money, no doctors, no progress. There, I
said it.
In any case. I do intend on posting one of the songs from
the upcoming album on the EMPIRE HIDEOUS web site for free, to give
everyone a taste of what’s to come. Stay tuned for further updates as
they happen.
