It has come to my attention that if you google the key words "batgirl panties", my little illustration batgirl panties is the first link to pop up. Ha! Maybe I should do some more panty relatied pictures if people seem to be that interested in them.
April is going to be a busy busy month. Our friend Matt is finally back from Iraq! He's back in the states, but not released from his base yet. We're planning on a huge welcome home weekend blow out, hopefully starting on friday. For starters, going back to the Abita Brewery is a given. Afterwords, we're planning on a craw fish boil- if the budget allows- a few lobsters will sacrifice their lives, as well. Matt will hopefully be coming back home from Iraq only once, so why shouldn't we do things big? He deserves it. Not only because of what he went through in the past year, but he's just generally a sweet guy. So, I'll hopefully recover by time I hop on the plan next Wednesday to led the service that night. It's Passover, and I've decided to go home to celebrate it with my family (like a good daughter should). It cost me my laptop fund, though, but the resources I have left behind at my parents house will make it up. While home, I plan on celebrating both my father's and niece's birthdays, help with the new house, see my brother's new house, update my portfolio, finish TC's web site, order more business cards, send out all the little introduction letters to potential employeers, finish the proposel for my art program, see about quickly applying for the grant money to help pay for my art program, send out for more business cards, and prepare my portfolio for NOLA's comic-con. Ethan and I are staying local this year, rather then going to Chicago (which we love and will miss). We'll make it back there soon enough. Right after the con, we'll be doing an art presentation for the school Ethan's sister works at. It's for the school's Jazz Fest knock-off. Sounds like it'll be a blast. Apart from Ethan and I being there, they'll have musicens, food, and apparently a hallway covered in bobble wrap (I can not wait to role around in a hallway covered in bobble wrap). The parents who send their kids to this school are prime canidates for my art program, so I'm excited to be meeting them.
Then it'll be May, and I'll wonder what happened to April.
