Available for free download at our "website" www.theseveninches.co.uk (due to be refurbished soon, by the way.

Track one is a reworking of the Christmas version of our old song "More Little Things". Every band member except shy Rachael gets to sing a verse. Emily II is singing "Elf shoes". Spot  all the musical homages to our favourite carols and win a mince pie.

Track two is the old Franz Gruber classic (originally composed for the guitar, indeed), interpreted by a solo Shaun

track three is a song celebrating the Winter Solstice Parties of me and my friends, which did indeed have ivy in the hallway and floating candles in the bath. Along with the non-Christmas version of "More Little Things" it was one of the six songs we played at our first ever gig in January 2002. It has never been heard since. Not strictly a Christmas song, but all the better for it.

Track four is another early song only previously performed  once, this time at our first Christmas gig in December 2002 (possibly our most gloriously shambolic gig ever). We had to change the final verse from "I predict in 2003, we're gonna make a killer LP" to , "I predict in 2008, our debut album five years late"

From all us seven inches. we hope you enjoy this seasonal offering, every one. May good cheer and a hale and hearty hearth warm up your Hanukkah

Happy Christmas? Happy every day!
