Grave Danger vs. Dairyland Dolls

First Half

Jam 1. Jenny Knoxville got things going the right way for the DD's as she was able to claim lead jammer along with a 3-0 run against Carmen Getsome. Score 3-0 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 2. Rollin Bayou gave Grave Danger their first lead of the night as she was able to skate away with lead jammer and a 4-0 decision over DD jammer Mouse. Score 4-3 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 3. Although Femme Fatale barely beat Darling Nikki out of the pack on the initial run, it was Nikki who was awarded lead jammer and skated away with a slim 3-2 decision. Score tied at 6-6.

Jam 4. Jenny Knoxville once again picked up lead jammer status for the Dairyland Dolls and earned four points during her first scoring pass an another single tally during her second. GD jammer Georgia O'Grief was unable to post anything for her team. Score 11-6 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 5. As DD jammer Mouse was making her way through the pack, GD blocker Femme Fatale was able to push her teammate, Tash-ya Round, into Mouse effectively taking her out of the play. This let Skate Trooper claim lead jammer for Grave Danger and paved the way for a grand slam run on her first pass and four more points during her second pass for a total score of 9-0. Score 15-11 in favor of Grave Danger.

Jam 6. GD jammer Carmen Getsome blasted DD jammer Darling Nikki coming off the line just after the second whistle blew. However, Dairyland blocker Wildberry Punch was able to even the score on Getsome during the initial pass which helped Nikki claim lead jammer. But once it was all done, the jam had ended in a 4-4 draw. Score 19-15 in favor of Grave Danger.

Jam 7. Jenny Knoxville claimed lead jammer status after the initial pass, but had to settle on a 2-2 score with Rollin Bayou. Score 21-17 in favor of Grave Danger.

Jam 8. Jewels of Denile took her first turn at jammer for the Dairyland Dolls and was able to pick up both lead jammer and a 2-0 decision over Katarina Whip. Score 21-19 in favor of Grave Danger.

Jam 9. Tash-ya Round was able to pick up lead jammer for Grave Danger, but she was still barely outscored by Chop Suzzy to the tune of 3-2. Score 23-22 in favor of Grave Danger.

Jam 10. Wildberry Punch was able to earn lead jammer status for the Dairyland Dolls and came away with a nice 5-0 grand slam run over Georgia O'Grief. Score 27-23 in favor of Grave Danger.

Jam 11. Carmen Getsome tied the game back up after claiming lead jammer status and skating away with a 4-0 run over Mouse. Score tied at 27-27.

Jam 12. Chop Suzzy was able to pick up lead jammer for the Dairyland Dolls and eventually staked a 3-0 claim over Rollin Bayou. Score 30-27 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 13. Femme Fatale broke out of the pack first for Grave Danger and picked up three points. However, Jenny Knoxville was able to earn lead jammer status and picked up a point of her own during the jam. Score 31-30 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 14 & 15. OOPS! Apparently someone accidentally unplugged the computer that hooks up the scoreboard. See….it even happens to the best of them sometimes (lol). When everything came back online after the 15th jam, Grave Danger had taken a slim 34-33 lead.

Jam 16. DD blocker Chop Suzzy took out GD jammer Femme Fatale in the early stages of the jam, giving Jenny Knoxville time to claim lead jammer and skate her way to a 4-1 decision. Score 37-35 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 17. Dairyland Dolls pivot Jewels of Denile executed a nice block at the front of the pack to help spring DD jammer Mouse into the lead jammer position and skate her way to a 5-0 grand slam over Tash-ya Round to end the period. Halftime score stood at Dairyland Dolls 42, Grave Danger 35.

Second Half

Jam 1. Katarina Whip broke away from the pack and skated away with 6 points while her Grave Danger blockers did a nice job of keeping DD jammer Jenny Knoxville within the pack for the entire jam. Score 42-41 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 2. Jewels of Denile claimed the lead jammer status and picked up a pair of grand slam runs for a 10-0 decision over Rollin Bayou. Score 52-41 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 3. Carmen Getsome returned the favor in the very next jam as she was able to earn lead jammer status and came away with a 13-4 run over Darling Nikki. Score 56-54 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 4. Even though Jenny Knoxville was able to pick up lead jammer and Dutch Oven smoked her with a hard hit, Rollin Bayou was still able to pick up a 3-1 decision to deadlock the game. Score tied at 57-57.

Jam 5. Femme Fatale flashed some of her old brilliance with a graceful hip-check that took out her opposing jammer, Mouse, during the initial pass. Fatale did pick up the lead jammer status but when she came back around to the rear of the pack, she was taken out hard by Mauly Tov and then the DD blockers did a nice job of containing her to the point where she could only pick up 3 points to Mouse's 4. Score 61-60 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 6. Femme Fatale started the jam sitting in the penalty box with the jammers cap on for Grave Danger. Then just after she left the box, she was greeted on the track with a hard hit by DD blocker Princess Die. Although Fatale did pick up 4 points during the jam, it didn't match the 7 points Jewels of Denile was able to earn for the Dairyland Dolls. Score 68-64 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 7. This time, it was Jewels of Denile who had to wait a minute in the sin bin to start the jam off. Morning Gory had a nice opportunity to collect some points and bring Grave Danger back into the game, but thanks in part to another nice hit by Princess Die during her scoring pass and an eventual trip to the penalty box herself, Jewels of Denile was able to exit the penalty area, claim lead jammer status and skate around for a grand slam 5-0 decision. Score 73-64 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 8. With Morning Gory still sitting in the penalty box to start the jam, Jenny Knoxville took the jammers panty for DD and raced away with a pair of grand slams and a 10-0 run. Score 83-64 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 9. Georgia O'Grief was able to claim lead jammer for Grave Danger, but didn't pick up any points during the jam. Meanwhile, Chop Suzzy was able to collect 6 more points for the squad out of Madison. Score 89-64 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 10. Georgia O'Grief started this jam sitting in the sin bin for Grave Danger. And once she exited the box, she handed her jammers cap off to GD pivot Femme Fatale. Although that was the smart move, it didn't pay off as Wildberry Punch was able to claim lead jammer status and skated her way to a 3-0 decision. Score 92-64 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 11. Mouse broke out of the pack during the initial pass but wasn't able to pick up lead jammer. She did get a grand slam on her first pass and four more during her second all while Rollin Bayou was able to claim lead status and pick up four points of her own. Score 101-68 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 12. Chop Suzzy continued to pile up the points for her Dairyland Dolls as she picked up 9 more points to lead jammer Skate Trooper's 2. Score 110-70 in favor of the Dairyland Dolls.

Jam 13. Carmen Getsome earned lead jammer status, but as the game came to a close, she had to finish the night with a 6-6 draw against Wildberry Punch. Final score was Dairyland Dolls 116, Grave Danger 76.
