BrAiNs was first published in Slam-Bang Vol.3 #1, in 2006. Although BrAiNs #1 contains all-new material, these BrAiNs short stories were originally designed as one page stories for Slam-Bang. Each tale brings the town of Creepsville to life and introduces several of Creepsville's twisted inhabitance. The very first BrAiNs stories are rumored to have been written by actual zombies, which explains why they didn't make much sense (if any at all). However, the Wandering Eyes have maintained their presence. Ever since, they have become the mascots of BrAiNs and continue to sneak and creep through out the panels.
The second issue of BrAiNs is part one of a three issue story arc titled "Eaters of the Flesh". All I can say is that it contains Mad Scientists, Zombies, Sewer Mutants, Murderers, Cannibals, Deviants, Conspiracy Theories and a Man Eating Ape!
I think I've said too much. I can here helicopters hovering above Allen Manor as I write this. Someone's banging at our door. There is sirens in the streets. It smells of cotton candy? Gotta go, see ya kiddies!
