I just received my copy À Rebours debut release "Vanish". This is a true triumph. The whole album is one great ride of eerie regrets fused with a haunting empathy. Not only is the guitar work astounding but lyrically it's quite poetic and might teach you a few new words. Ian Stone delivers melancholy hymns with songs like "24fps" or "Chiaroscuro", tongue and cheek tunes like "Necromance", and the brilliantly witty homage to Dorothy Gale's nemesis "The Wicked One."

Each well arranged track flows nicely to the next, breathing life to a fantastic experience. Like a lovers dance in the twilight, "Vanish" will leave you breathless, giddy, and temporarily frozen in moments of ecstasy. Long story short you are cheating your soul if you don't purchase this album now.
