I love food. Though there are some things I don't like I am always willing to try it at least once. More often than not I am pleaseantly supprised. I love foods from other cultures and the stranger the food or experience the better (alcohol included) This leads me to you. I need your help.

I am looking for great places to eat. Let me say it again friends, I am looking for great places to eat. The other thing I love is getting the purest form of the culture's food as I can. Mexican you say? The Volcano Taco isn't what I have in mind (though I eat them shamefully), but if you give me fresh menudo or mole that brings back wonderful memories for you then I'm interested. That being said if you know a great hybrid or variation let me know, just also let me know it is a variation.

Show me hole in the wall joints, delicious street vendors, out door markets, anual festivals, your grandmothers best, I'm interested. Give me something others are afraid to eat or that the masses can't get enough of, dishes that have a historical story or interesting anecdote.

My only stipulation (for now) is that it is in the state of Arizona and has to be contained to Scottdale, Phoenix (all), Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert, Cave Creek, and Tempe. If I am traveling I will definitely give a shout out to you who live by where I am going.

So please send me a message on these great places, show me your favorite dishes and show me your herritage pride.

You know good food and it's time for you teach me.

Thanks,

Marcus
