Alright so I posted up this new song called "13 Days." The lyrics and vocals are super cheesy and even a little sentimental. This song was done in stints over the last couple months with a lot of it being finished in the past couple of days up in New Hampshire. Since I moved up here I have been able to work on things basically as much as my brain can handle. Unfortunately my available time will soon decrease once my school workload picks up.
Most of the song is in 13 time. If you listen to the verse you'll hear a pattern on the guitar that goes 123-1234-123456 (notes of an arpeggiated chord descending down the strings). Then there's the pattern 1234-1234-12345. For the 'chorus' there's the pattern 123-123-123-1234 and some of the above. Basically these are all just combinations adding up to 13. Does it add a ton to the song? I don't know but it seems cool to me.
Anyway, don't mind the non-brootz wimpy song. The next couple will probably be pretty heavy and technical. I also have a special Christmas song planned which should be fun.
