Well what can i say we had an absolute blast!
It all started with a
bang we got a puncture going to get Mindflux Friday day:0) After a long
wait we were up and running again making our way to the dwelling of
Mindflux. We loaded up his kit into our bursting at the seems volvo and
made our way to Hereford where we were to meet the Akahum crew.
We
eventually found Ian's place where it was a lovely old cottage in the
steeps of the valleys Brecon Beacons Black Mountains rising from the
dusk that was Friday evening. David Akahum was there with trusty tour
bus and lovely to see Lyndon Akahum Bass Player who sadly couldn't make
the gig . We decided to leave for Northumberland at 6am aiming to
arrive at the Castle for early morning! All aboard Dave and Ian who
plays a blinding set of acoustic drums Mindflux Spira and myself.
Arrival at Featherstone Castle 10am
We
tumble out of the tour bus and meet Ally Black and a few friendly faces
from the Alchemy crowd Monk we met at Wickerman Festival last year
loads of lovely people, all set in this mad ancient castle free for us
to roam..... It was awesome, open fires, 3 rooms of music, 1 live stage
with huge wooden mushrooms sprouting out of it with 10 bands over 3
days including ourselves headlining the stage with Akahum Saturday
night.
This was going to be a great party a private 150 or so lovely people creating an intimate setting 
We all found a quiet space in the castles kitchen which was huge and gathered to go through the nights proceedings.....
laptops and set lists at the ready we started to smoke.....
During
this time we were treated to amazing hospitality from Ally the main
organiser for this party. An awesome banquet was had! The castle had
100 private guest rooms,it was huge  and a caravan for us rock stars.
Fed and watered loads of vodka beer and whiskey later we started to set
up our kit backstage.
It all went fairly well apart from me having
no midi sync capabilities the crowd were mental and we had an amazing
time playing our music.

Needless
to say we hit out with our up-tempo numbers ending in planned chaos! 
Mindflux and Spira played their pants off quite literally seems were
bursting ! lol
Stellar performances from David and Ian made this set
the most exciting yet ! The rest of the time was had wandering the
castle stumbling and eating all we could well which wasn't much.......
Just
all to say is a huge thank you to David Unlimbo for all the driving and
amazing support and Ally and Monk for amazing hospitality. Top geezers
for sure people that do what they say
