                                    RITUALS WILL HIT STORES 11-11-08

The Tampa, Florida-based death metal legends are set to release their eighth full-length studio album titled Death Rituals November 11th via Metal Blade Records.



According to a press release, Death Rituals features 13 tracks of pure American death metal delivering a bludgeoning slab of metal that will leave fans hungering for more. Legendary death metal vocalist Chris Barnes, along with guitarist Steve Swanson, bass legend Terry Butler, and drummer Greg Gall, continue to follow the dark and demented path that merges tried and true death groove with stomach-turning lyrics and themes.



Death Rituals saw the band returning to Morrisound Studios in Tampa, FL with Chris Carroll at the helm with mixing duties being handled by Toby Wright and the return of Six Feet Under's old friend Bill Metoyer, who recorded the bands CD Warpath, helping out with recording of the drums.

Bought it...AWESOME! It's the best album you guys have ever done. The musicians have obviously progressed and, Chris, you're vocals still sound like the loosening of the bowels of Satan himself! The riffs are unbelievable and it's clear that you've eperimented with your sound as a band.
