Britt’s in a bubble right by a
brick wall.....
It burst the other day when I
planted (my least valuable) guitar into the wall causing it to increase
dramatically in separate parts. I guess the pressures, frustrations and boredom
are building with this Herculean project I’ve took upon myself.....
Luckily my redoubtable pal
Johnny Wright has offered to help me out off the impass by coming and sitting
in on some of the album sessions to stop me from hurling myself and my things
at the wall again.....
Oddly enough, when I actually
calmed down and pencilled in a few details about where I was up to with this
bastard I’ve created, the album didn’t seem that far away fm completion. ....
Silly Ian.....
After speaking with my Dutch aid
and agent, I have decided to rip one possibly two tracks off Big Light and
place them on the new album. It’s kind of against my artistic will but it would
make sense as “Dedicate” has definitely received a lot of interest over there and
so could potentially become a hit. La La La! So, it should be a wise move to
relocate it on a new and full length album. (Big Light not quite making that
grade with it’s 6 tracks.) I’m sure the new album is hit from end to end,
though when you take into account the fact that I’ve started testing my guitars
by slamming them into walls, perhaps I’m not the best judge right now.....
Serious medical need of a
holiday here!....
So what else is on? Well, the
album is currently in my hate list, a live in lover that you just wish would
get fucked off out of there! So, again with Johnny Wright in alignment, a side
project named “Dogz” has been created and we’ve been writing stuff completely
different to the “Ian Britt” catalogue. We’ve penned a few busters I tell you,
the most exciting of which is the track the Michael Jackson never got to
record! It’s called “Put Your Mouth on Mine,” and you won’t believe it! If you
want a sneaky listen, let me know your emails and I shall mail it out to you;
it’s a pop sensation and will make it’s way out into the flow soon enough.
Everyone around us is very excited by the track as are we! Johnny helps me stay
calm!....
If you cross your arms right
now, it’ll feel fine. However, if you cross them the other way, WOW… now that
just don’t feel right. Aint that a thing. I’ve sat for seven hours with them
crossed that anti-way and nope they still don’t feel good. Experiment complete.....
Anyone else got floaters in
their eyes?....
I need a managing regularly. ....
As well as a holiday.....
Roll on the calm.....
