I'm a employed Sound Engineer. Studied at Reading College.

Basically chaps, I'm really into your music and have always wanted to do a band like it. I usually sing and play guitar in bands but I'll like to just concentrate on making really interesting tuneful guitar lines up. I love messing with gear and making different sounds.

Currently in a band but I'll be more than up for making a practise sometime n' seeing how things go. Cheers

Hey Guys!

Love the music, i've been a fan for quite a while. I've been playing guitar for just over 7 years now and music has been my passion since before i can remember (i couldn't imagine myself doing anything else to be honest)
I also play bass guitar, drums, piano, and i do a bit of vocal work for my current band (screams and harmonies)

Name-Jake Baker

Based-Birmingham (but i'm planning to move out of the west midlands at some point this year)

Equipment-I play an ESP LTD Viper 200 or an Ibanez RG350DX (depending on what mood i'm in)
i also used a Korg Toneworks AX1500g multi-effects pedal and i have a line6 spider2 head (when i get the money i'm getting a Ashdown FallenAngel 180 Valve Head) and a Ashdown 4x12 cab with celestian speakers

Age-17 (20-09-1991)

Drive- I'm not driving yet but i'm getting a motorbike asap (by the end of the year/early next year i'm hoping)

Previous experience/bands-I'm currently in a band called ShotDeadInVegas and we've been together since february 2008 and we've already played at recognised venues in and around the West Midlands such as Carling Academy/O2 Academy Birmingham, The Barfly Birmingham, The Asylum Birmingham, The Wolverhampton Little Civic & The Custard Factory Birmingham just to name a few. We were also in the surface unsigned festival last year starting just 2 months after the band first came together and we got to the semi-finals. I also have experience in a studio considering i worked in a recording studio/ rehearsal studio for a short period of time for a family friend in 2007 and ive recorded with previous bands several times. I know i'm currently in a band but this opportunity is to good to miss.

Influences- My music is influenced by various different styles of music from reggae to dubstep/drum and bass to death metal and pretty much everything inbetween but if i were to name a few bands as my main influences i would say Underoath, Envy on the coast, LoveHateHero & Fightstar.

Work/Education-I'm currently unemployed and not in education (although i will be starting a college course in september, but if you like what you see and hear I would choose the band over the course as it would have to be my main priority) and i'm ready and willing to put my full commitment and my whole dole check towards the band :)

I hope to hear from you soon, thanks
Jake x
