Prestatyn 10th Aug
Hey people, here we go on the next 5day run. Still loving the vibe but now I'm mega tired and its showing vocally. Just finished the Prestatyn gig. Again it was fun and the audience were brilliant but I definitely was not at my vocal best. Theres a lot to learn about pacing yourself when it comes to touring. The weather is so much better which helps to lift the spirits and thank god for the PS2! Not much to do after a mega long drive except watch a movie. And that's if I'm lucky enough to get a room where I can plug the ps2 into. Not all pontins sites let me go into club. A few do and really treat me like a real artist but unfortunatley some do tend to give me the cabaret (I don't really care about you!) treatment. But its all good I'm self contained and learning the game. Tomroow I'm off to Blackpool. Wicked there we even get fed. Snz and I are so tired I can't even get the energy up to kick his butt at air hockey.... yet! He'll want revenge so I'm sure it will start tomorrow! So to sum it up. Really good gig but wish I felt less tired so I could show the audience everything. I was always told your only as good as your last gig! I'll check in tomorrow when I've rested a bit.
God BlessBlackpool gig went well...surprisingly well vocally, but there is a fantastic PA system there and colin the sound engineer is a sound genius! So I think with his tweaking he made it easier to sing hence saves my voice. The audience were a bit quiet but I still felt they had a good time. They did the soultrain so that's a good sign. Oh yeah air hockey..... I got my butt kicked at 2 - 1 and you know I'm not hearing the last of it! Full revenge from last weeks taunting. Even when I was performing Sanz was showing me 2 - 1 signs ! Roll on southport so I can silence him!
Right at southport now really nice weather today. It rained last night so major puddles everywhere. I've managed to even the air hockey scores now @ 3 - 3. It was sooo funny playing! all the kids were watching 2 grown men take air hockey way 2 seriously! We will see who takes the crown tomorrow in Brean! I'll go on stage at about 22.30 tonight. So resting until 21.30 to give myself plenty of time to get ready and get over to the venue and see what the audience is like. Already had a few people ask me about tonights performance so hopefully they will be up for a really good night. Really looking forward to it. I think I'm eating allot better and the herbal tea seems to help also. Feeling allot more enthused rather than tired even with my vitamin supplements. I think the problem is Im not sleeping properly. Because the beds are so uncomfortable not actually getting a full nights rest. But I used the fold out bed in prestatyn Fri night which surprisingly was more comfortable. So managed to rest that night which helped considerably.I'll check in @ brean 2moro0130 Oh yeah! Gig went really well so good with the southport audience. Absolutely brilliant night. Well done Southport audience. Stormed it! Also good news on the air hockey comp. The game has turned full circle I am now back on top with the scores @ 6 - 3! and Sanz is not a happy bunny! Infact he so wants revenge. Last day tomorrow for sanz to get back on top!

Didnt even get a chance to continue the game we were so tired after the drive and due to do another long Journey straight after the show so Sanz had to rest up!! Brean show went well, a little on the quiet side for me regards to PA system as there are a few issues with sound levels. Despite that the audience was fantastic, just wished the conditions were right for a star perfromance. Oh and the accommodation wasnt too hot!! Wasnt very comfortable at all lets hope that gets rectified next week!!

Voice is really tired now tonights show started so well done most of the set in full voice then it suddenly went. cant really say suddenly 5 days of vocals Im really pushing it hard!! But the show went ok the audience were definitely in holiday mode which is great for me. i didnt get the chance to perfrom my original tracks as i literally couldnt sing anymore, but I did my time and could see smiling faces so felt i did the job adequately!! Now home for some rest and try and get my voice back for Friday!!
