Oh, woe unto all the fooking bastards who sit behind office desks and benches of power... ye who worship that tangled root of all evil that makes the world go round, so they say. Sorry... just in a mood, and still a fucking peasant, as far as I can see.... enough to drive a soul to familiar songs for solace. :-)~

Another version of Working Class Hero that can't be embedded:

P.S. I don't know how this song slipped my mind, as it's always been among my favourites and fits the theme perfectly. First, the complete song:

And, in the studio:

Thank you, Paula. Your words do more to help than anything else has thus far. :-) One has to wonder how evil a system is that places profit above health and makes it a matter of policy to try to forestall and wait out people in hopes that they will die before they are given help and any precious money has to be spent on them! (money that can be used for lovely bombs and spent on whores by fat cats in power! how can we deprive THEM??? they won't let us!) It seems so very evil to me, and this in the 'home of the brave and land of the free.' I guess they hope individuals will be silent and suffer bravely and then die for free, although even dying is not free! It's all so corrupt and twisted. It's time for a revolution with pitchforks and torches, I think, against those evil misers in charge, but I'm sure that will never happen here... people are kept in fear and always under intimidation. Oh, but thank you so for your words and your very apt song and clip! It brings me such a much needed smile amidst the darkness, and for that I cannot thank you enough!

Oh yes,
Love&Peace&Justice&myeternalgratitudetoyou! :-)

P.S. The song you sent brought this song to mind. I can't find the real version to embed, but if you get the chance you can hear it here:

And here's a cool little documentary about the making of the song, but you don't get the whole song or the finished version, but it's cool to watch. :-)

Thank you! for sending those clips and reminding me of Neil's strong admonition to make men 'see' sense..venting his frustrations no doubt haha.. good lyrics.. now all you need is an hearing and willing ear for the message is still very apt today ,as nothing much has changed as yet..we remain hopeful:-) haha.. as' hope is all we have left' under this new 'regime' of leaders .. for in Neils words we 'dont need no more lies'.. afterall, actions speak louder then words.

Yes.. Love&Peace&Justice&EndtoCommerce&End to war.:-)

P.S I enjoyed listening to the John lennon songs..same message, similar theme..
I noticed a cool natural finish Epiphone guitar ... which I thought looked odly familiar:-)

P.S I forgot to say I agree wholeheartedly with your words above..and it made me laugh out loud when you said that maybe' its time for a revolution with pitchforks and torches'.. yes haha!! and your probably right!!! Bring back the Sixties:-) but seriously, where are all the real freedom fighters of today..maybe we have all got too lazy and perhaps fear and apathy stands in the way..
Having said all that .. lets hold on to hope, and hope for seeing freedom for Justice and freedom of War in our lifetime..:-)

Thank YOU! When YOU mention 'hope' to me, it always seems to get through to me through all the depression, frustration, hopelessness, pessimism, etc. So, that is a great talent you seem to possess. :-) Yes, I love that Neil song... he is venting such frustration! And he does it so well! "Don't need no more lies" so just "gimme some truth!" :-) And I like what you say about people have gotten apathetic and the need for more courage and caring in the face of injustice! You are so right! Yes, if we could but get back to the sixties in our attitudes! Away with the fear, laziness and apathy! Back with the freedom fighters! The citadel of the fat cats is in some serious need of being stormed! ha ha! We need it so badly! I agree with ALL you said... freedom from injustice, war, all those evil things! Thank you for reminding me to hold onto hope... Yes, let's hold onto hope for a better world in all ways... let there be Love and peace!

P.P.P.P.P.P.S.S.S.S. Sorry to keep harping on and on, but this interview came to my memory. This is part two, and part one is good too, and longer, about 10 minutes, but I will post this part because it has to do with the theme we have been on... look especially about 1 minute in and shortly thereafter, where he talks about the insanity of governments and those who run the world... I just love that part and agree so much with what he says!

Well, I am very pleased you continued the theme and so I thought I would too if you dont mind :-) haha... and thought i'd round it up with one more song, 'John's interview made me think of the insane world we live in still, and somehow brought this song to my mind.... dont mean to depress you but its a fine song and the lyrics somehow  tie in with the theme we have been talking about..its indeed a mad world..
Having said that lets believe in peace and hope amongst the insanity in this mad world..:-)

Thank you for sending this song... it touched me and gave me chills for some reason. Yes, it is a mad world, and I sometimes seem doomed to go in circles. :-) I am quite glad you continued the theme in such a nice way. Oh yes, I am with you.... let's do try to believe in peace and hope amidst the insanity that surrounds us. Sounds like a very nice idea to me. I love the Sun Bear quote as well! And, no the song did not depress me... it actually worked in the opposite direction, and I am so happy and thankful you sent it. :-)
