THE STORY OF THE "METRIC FUCKTON" AND HOW IT CAME TO BE

So I was at work awhile back and my boss decides to look over a design document of mine. He sends back the document after looking it over for a couple of hours, and proceeds to tell me via e-mail that he made a "couple of changes". Well I open the document and there is nearly 100 comments/changes (mostly nitpicky stuff, but that's not the point :p).

With that I proceed to enter his office with my typical Holy shit you've gotta be kidding me look and say, "You call that a couple of changes?  Where I come from a couple means two." He then tells me, "Well a couple means a bunch for me *with a big grin*."

My response was, "Well from this day forward my Outlook will filter the word "couple" in any e-mail you send to me, and will replace it with the words "Metric Fuckton". That way at least I'll be prepared for whatever comes next".

And so now you will know that when the word ends up in Websters Dictionary, you will therefore know the origin of "Metric Fuckton" :).
