I dont know about the veggie diet the video proposes.... but it DOES make me wish I could go out and raise some chickens.  Factory food is bad for all of us.  Videos like this absolutely horrify me!  Compassion should be instinct for a food processor.... not a budget decision!!!

I want to build a chicken coop now and adopt a bunch of chicks!

OMFG Ethan..something has to be done about animal cruelty PETA needs to come together and take recognition for what is taking place in these factories with baby and adult animals. how would they like it if someone roughly handled them like that and put them through rigorous handling.

Honestly as human creatures we can go as far as being cruel, some day or maybe now, we are going or there will be a dominant species which will put us in such extremes? how would you respond?

Sinceramente como criaturas humanas podemos llegar al extremo siendo crueles, algun dia oh talvez hoy, estamos siendo oh llegaremos a ser dominados por una especie dominante la cual nos pondra en esos extremos? como responderiamos?

Someone needs to call PETA and the Humane Society on their asses. This is literally making me sick to my stomach because I just happen to eat fried chicken last night.

Guys, come on, how can you not know this happens.  When you pay so little for battery farmed chicken, how else are they going to provide it at that cost.  I guess if you want to change things it's best to buy direct from a butcher, or select the animal that you would like to be slaughtered on a farm.

I guess that's how the big fast food chains/ supermarkets are able to supply the food they sell at a cost that's so attractive to most consumers.   To be honest we're all to blame, if we all stopped buying fast food I think a lot would change, but who is actually going to change their habits, when it's so convenient & cheap.  Is it worth spending double on something knowing the product is so much better for your health, the animal in question and humanity, or is it just cost that's important?  Somthing to think about eh.., anyway, we all can change things in different ways, every single one of us can make a change as we all affect the economy (some in big ways, other in minute ways) , you all have a lovely weekend, I'm sure things will be better in the future!

Me and my boyfriend bought a house with four acres of land. I planted a huge rose garden and a small vegetable garden. I plan on expanding on it next summer. I want an all organic garden. I'm also getting into canning. I would eventually like to grow all my own fruits and vegetables. Here's some pics of my gardens. I hope you likee...

People can do their part to lessen the abuse of animals in factory farms by not purchasing meat products from large manufacturers.  Buy from health-food stores, farmers markets or purchase free range meat products.  Better yet, go vegetarian or vegan and don't support the abuse of animals by not consuming meat products.
