Hi everyone,

Well I didn't really want to be the bearer of this news but we have cancelled our gig at the Concorde on Sep 21st and at the Providence (Brighton Live) on the 27th.

The band is taking a break for 3 months (perhaps longer). We won't be performing or anything for the remainder of 2007.

In 2008 we are unsure of how the band will return, where it will be based and who exactly will be the team churning out the music.

However at the moment I'm in the studio working on 18 new songs that I'm feeling are the best The Stirring have put together so far.

Some of them may find the surface online over the next couple of months, so keep a look out.

I wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for you're support so far! You've been fantastic!

I can say it has been a pleasure to play our music to great people that have made it so worthwhile for us.

So CHEERS! to all the fans and friends so far... we've had a blast and hope you have too.
