Let me begin by thanking all of our friends, "Friends," and myspace visitors.
It’s almost Christmas, and we’re all excited about our upcoming New Year’s gig in Belfast, Maine, less than two weeks away. We’ll be practicing once this week in ouir new basement rehearsal space and then three or four times next week in the last few days before the show. It will be our first time out with the new sound system, and we’re hoping to get the settings figured out so that we’ll all be audible. We’ll be playing two 45-minute sets at 10 and 11.
I’m still working on the lyrics for my newest song, "Here for the Season." It’s sort of an Al Stewart-meets-1950’s rhumba song. Rolf is still putting finishing touches on "Ouija Child," which should be lots of fun with its energetic instrumental stretches. I’m looking forward to playing Jennifer’s new "Manchild," which will close out our performance in massive fashion.
