Current mood:  contemplative

My writing, recently has taken on a new direction. "A Quarter life" was very much about my struggles and those of the people i see around me. My new stuff is leaning towards thinking outside myself, and what we can do together to make this world a better place. I like it. It's more positive and has a good message to give people i think...

I feel like i'm at a place in my life where i have to change some things and really start to run with certain ideas and put others to bed. I can sit around all day contemplating if I have it exactly right, or I can run with my heart and really live...

Maybe i'm rambling but it makes sense to me.

Here is the lyrics to a new song i've recently penned, it says a lot about where i am right now.

One

All these multithreaded arguments
All of the signposts of hope
To the destitute and loveless
To all those who have lost hope
We came to this world with nothing
And I'll leave straight back with the same
Does not mean that we aren't something
All one in the same

We're not stopping here
We shall overcome
We are never alone
When we are one

Well I have a dream you see
Crazy fool that I am
That we can all join hands together
Lift our dreams out of the sand
We can own all of the palaces
In consumer paradise
Doesn't mean that we have anything
If each other must pay the price

I dont have all the answers

I have a thousand questions why

It's inside each one of us

to walk a mile by the side

of those who need a helping hand

or maybe just my spare change

I'll walk with you brother if i can

lend an ear and i'll try to understand

Our spirit will not be broken
By the war mongers and the bombs
Cos at the end is a destination
Where everyone belongs
We came to this world with nothing
And we'll leave straight back with the same
Apart from the love that we share together
All one in the same
