Just thought I'd let whoever reads these in on my newest adventure. It was funny, I called my friend John to tell him I had some life changing news and his first thought was that I got a girl pregnant. Well just to dispell any possible rumors that isn't it haha. This past Friday I quit my job at the bank after a year and almost 8 months. My reasoning is a few things with the most important being my frustration with being passed over for the job I mentioned in my last blog. I felt the interview was the best I have had to date and they wound up hiring a girl with 4 months less time than me. So I knew then it was time to move on to something new.

That something new starts today actually. I've enrolled in classes at West Virginia Northern Community College to become a dealer at the Wheeling Downs. I'll be taking 3 different courses, starting with introduction to casino gambling (2 weeks). The other courses are 4 weeks apiece and are training to specifically deal blackjack and roulette. I'm really looking forward to starting today and seeing if maybe this is something more up my alley (excuse the bowling reference pun). The way I see it I could always get a similar dead end job I had anywhere basically. Well I better get ready to make the trek up to Wheeling and try to find the campus.
