hi all,

Sadly this will be rather short since this is the third time i am writing it and hopefully this time it posts and doesn't erase my info.  so here it goes. 

we landed safe and sound in australia after 21 hours in a coach seat (don;t even ask)  we missed our connecting flight from sydney to melbourne so that was a slight setback, but we hopped ont he next flight so we got right back on schedule.  we landed in melbourne and  i have to say it was the quickest i have ever gotten my baggage in my life (australia rocks!).  oddly enough even though we had been traveling for so many hours we still had energy to explore the city and i have to say the shopping here is awesome.  they have everything and thought hey only have 5 starbucks int eh city they have a 7/11 on every corner.  (the aussies must really love their slushies)  but good news is so do I. 

you might be asking yourself, why is she up so early if australia is 14 hours ahead of the US.  the answer is extremely simple.  when you fly for 21 hours and then walk miles around a city you pass out at 6pm.  when you pass out at 6pm you can;t really sleep any later than 3 am so here i am bright and early awake and i never thoght i woulod be saying this because i love to sleep late, but i am jsut so excited to be here i don;t even care that it's still dark and i'm wide awake.  :)

today jaime and i are going to see the penguins, yeah i said penguins, and not behind glass liek at sea world either.  we're goingto be about 10 feet from them.  i am so excited, i love penguins.  anyway we're off to the gym (what else is there to do int he middleo f the night, gotta love 24 hour fitness centers). 

i will hopefully be able to blog everyday and i think by tomorrow I'll have a website up for all my pictures so you can log on and see australia also.  i will include that addressi n my next blog.
