Ahh Shit, I'm getting my BLOG ON!!!!!   Its about time for me to write down my thoughts before someone gets slapped.  Believe me, I'm not trying to offend anyone....I jus get tired of the BULLSHIT. If you could walk in my shoes and see the ignorance that I experience daily you wouldn't be able to handle it. First and foremost, I'm a good person, I'm extremely loyal to my friends and I LOVE everyone. The only thing that turns me off is close-minded, hateful people. That's the reason I'm getting this situation off my chest. Its sad in 2007 that people still feed into stereotypes.  I'm gonna start this ridiculous story by saying I was minding my own FREAKIN buisness. I'm standing in Chipotle ordering my food and the "gentlemen" beside me decides to spark up a conversation. It went like this...


gentlemen: Hey, I like your watch man.


me: Thanks man.


gentlemen: (smug look) What kind of watch is it?


me: Its a Casio G-Shock watch.


gentlemen:  (smug look again) Is that some sort of G-Unit watch? (laughs)


me:  (visibly annoyed, facial expression is WTF?) No, Its a watch made by Casio. Casio, the watch manufacturer.


gentlemen:  So its not a G-Unit watch?


me:  May I have extra chicken on my burrito?


Its 12 hours later and I'm still trying to figure out how he pulled G-Unit out of his ass.  PAUSE!  It could have been several reasons. HOW WOULD YOU HAVE HANDLED THIS SITUATION? The 25 year old version of myself would have thrown the burrito in his face. Oh yeah, I would NEVER wear G-Unit anything.---Stress

Just reading this has to remind us that we live in a city that still has a plethora of ignorance in its core. More and more you have brothas and sistas coming out sideways without any thought as to the effect it has on their fellow man. WAKE THA FUCK UP!!!

I think the term, "think before you speak" comes to mind when I hear from Brotha Stress about his weird yet common "Richmond" encounter. What I will say is that this wasnt simply ignorance but malice on the part of the gentleman because no one would ever come out of their mouth with "G-Unit" unless they had knowledge of the group in some sort of capacity.

Dont get ignorance twisted with slick talking bullshit that is also a common trait of a so called typical, "Richmond" type brotha or sista. Think of a person who tries to act ignorant in their conversation with you knowing damn well that they're trying to get under that skin.

If this was the Chipotle that i'm thinking Brotha Stress went to, a number of responses could have been used to diffuse the situation from, "Nigga, WTF?!?!" to escalating to "Auto Reflex, slapping tha shit outta a nigga" and having Henrico County's finest yet racist come scoop you up for a ride to central booking and a court date over on Parham Rd.

or to make a long story short...CHECK THAT MOTHAFUCKA RIGHT THEN AND THERE BEFORE TENSION INCREASES!!!!!
