Hey Yall...

Been while since I have gotten on here to talk "SERIOUS BUSINESS" !!!  But I come to you this time around in Solicitation of your Prayers!! As many of you know I am in the process of recording my debut project "So Crazy, No Boundaries" due out 1st Quarter of 2009 (Between Jan-March). I've been working hard in the studio with KP and some other great producers to bring you a sound that you have never heard b4 on this side of the Industry.

Lets see where do I begin...I went to the Dr's the other day and was told yet again that I have "NODULES OF THE VOCAL CORDS"...those of you who know what those are should have just dropped to your knees and immediately went into prayer for me!! LOL! Sike No, but really...I got so upset at the Dr. Like it was his fault. Nodules to a Singer are like a Broken Leg to a Track Star, No Sight to a Pilot, and No Fingers to a Stenographer!!!! I think you get my point. The first time I had them back in 2005 I was in the middle of a production in Baltimore, MD (Black Nativity) my vocal coach gave me all these Tea's I was on vocal rest for a few days and all went well...Voice Returned in a week or so but this time around they are talking "SURGERY"...that word alone sends pain down every inch of my body!!!! But, I got to do what I go to do! For people who make a living or a career out of singing such as I, this is not abnormal...quite common....a few of your fav's have had them...Jordan Sparks, Brent Jones, Omarion just to name a few. It's so frustrating though because the Surgery comes with WEEKS of what seems like Vocal Probation, mind you I am in the middle of RECRODING MY CD!!!! OMG...DEVIL, I HATE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOWWWW!!!

So...kindly send up a lil' pray to calm my NURBS! LOL...

Other than that all is well...I still have some dates here and there, check the calendar for updates...but you may not see James in FULL EFFECT for a while. But with GOD and your prayers, I know I will be Alright!!!

I just want to share this with you. I just preached this past Sunday and the Lord gave me this for his people..."Don't Let Your Condition Change Your Position in Christ"!!!! I came from Daniel 6: 7, 10-12, 16-23

Yes, the "NODULES OF THE VOCAL CORDS" is your "Condition" right now however don't let it change you!!! God has the last say in everything that we do. See when you are doing a work for God in which you already know the Devil is coming for you in some way form or fashion cause that's his job however remember Jesus is the master of "Jobs"!!!

If you must cry then cry, scream then scream but brush yourself off and just do what
I Corinthians 15:58…Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord!

I will be putting your name in our prayer box in church!!!

Keep your head up James...Tthis lil bump in the road will just cause your testimony to be even stronger, you lyrical content will be even crazier, and when you return to the studio you will KILL, so just look at this as an opportunity to write your butt off.

Without a doubt I'm praying. A few quick words...

Don't just think of this as an attack from the enemy. Sometimes we pay him wayyyy too much attention, he's already a defeated foe! Much more, see God in this. Take the time to listen to Him and hear Him in this. What is God saying to you in this time about you and ministry He has placed in you? Since we know that all things work together for our good, since we know that He won't put more on us than we can bear, since we know that in all things we are more than conquerors, since we know that the trying of our faith worketh patience (among so many other things)...we then should take a moment and appreciate God. He thinks enough of both us and the ministry in us that He MAKES US READY for our purposes. Something about this is required for you to be effective, maybe this is the perfect storm to bring the rain necessary for a fruitful harvest. Be encouraged!!!

Well, I am so sorry to hear that man, but step back and take a moment and look at the entire picture because only you can, this may not be a bad thing, God may have allowed this to happen for a reason. He didn't bring you this far to leave you, but God never said that you didn't need a rest from time to time. Do as the doctor tell you to do, ask the LORD to calm your spirit, extend some of HIS patience to you, PRAISE YOUR WAY THRU IT! Its uncomfortable waiting on IT, but exercise your right in the LORD. Make this a testimony, and by all means, SHUT YO MOUF!! LOL
