Biography:
The band was founded by Gabriel Wolf in 1990.
In the early days Infra Black played industrial music with metal and experimental elements.
In 2007 Gabriel & Matthias decided to change their style into Terror EBM, but not in a typical way. They've been calling their style "Gore EBM". The base of their music has been feeding from the Terror EBM genre, but they use strong and dynamic bass runs, and catchy background melodies. Gabriel's screaming vocal style can remind the listener of Psyclon Nine or the more aggressive songs of Wumpscut. Gabriel doesn't use any special effects for his vocals aside from some distortion, as being an experienced singer/screamer for almost 20 years, he doesn't need anything like that. Lyrics of Infra Black are violent and gory, sometimes sarcastic in a bizarre, cruel way and they're using maybe the most extremely sadistic and sick movie samples in their music which (including all the other characteristics) makes their music outstanding in the whole Terror EBM scene.
So, in a nutshell: Infra Black is a FUKKING COOL BAND!!!

We've just met
the music of Syndrome x/209 but we fell in love with it immediately.
All of
his songs are very professional, actually there isn't a real weak-point on his
debut album. The dark and sick style of his music reminds us of the best and
most powerful Velvet Acid Christ albums, such as Calling ov the Dead. The main
title track on Syndrome x/209's debut album, called "Feline Daemon" also
reminded us a bit of early Skinny Puppy with its "old school, but kick ass"
style and mood.
With these descriptions you can be sure, we simply
couldn't dislike what he's doing. It was a hard decision to find out a good
order of songs for the tracklist, because each track is better and better than
the previous one. The track you're listening to, always seems to be the best one. It's hard to decide which is the best actually. Maturity of
his vocal tecnhiques is surprising: full of hate, power and anger. We definitely think that EVERYBODY in the entire industrial/EBM scene should hear his debut album!

Bio:
Kettil Sundberg has founded the band in Stockholm in
2007. He was disappointed in his current Jazz/Grindcore band and he wanted to
express his hate secretly towards a person in his personal life at that time.
Those times his main aim was to express his hate and agony. The project started
out as a mix between Techno and IDM. But during the first 6 months it took more
and more turns towards Hellektro.
The first track with vocals was
called "Carry Me Away on Solid Gold Wings" and was made 7 months after his first
track was made.
The first live he played was in May/2008 at Tokyo Dark
Castle in Japan. After that he really put the project before most things in
life, because he felt that being on stage, expressing his hate was his
calling.
Nowadays Kettil is just hoping to play as many shows as he
can, to promote himself and his music. He just arranged his first club Called
ESP. And that will be the first event of many. What the future holds for him, he
doesn't know. But he will keep on doing his thing and continue to create more
dark dance-hits!
For the question, what makes his band special, he
answered:
"Me! Just the fact that I am who I am. Done what I've done. And the
feelings I express are something people can relate to. Being abused, hurt and
mentally destroyed..."
