Current mood: determined
With the imminent closing of ROOM 710 and the huge dent it will make in Austin's long-overlooked Red River Music Community, Triniti Young, myself and Asher from 710 are now working on a coffee table book for ROOM 710.
No one will write our history for us, so we need to take matters into our own hands before Red River is gone for good. This project makes total sense, as I have boxes of B&W prints dating back to fall of 2000 and have bringing my camera to shows ever since. I am honored to be a part of this, and glad to finally be doing *something* with the 1000's of pics I've been taking over the years at 710 alone.
SO -- Anyone who knows publishers, or people who know publishers, or know how to put a book together, GET IN TOUCH.
In the meantime, come on out and have some beers and support the scene before this unsung Austin rock n roll landmark goes away and is reopened as God-knows-what.
Thanks, Danny G
