What is a Counterterrorist? Well, I suppose that word would define somebody who engages in counterterrorism, right? So what is counterterrorism? Well, I guess that would be the practice of countering the tactic of terrorism, correct?

Ok ...

So how does one counter terrorism? would the proper method be to engage in violence or more terrorism? From what I've observed, I've come to the conclusion that no, absolutely not. It seems like those ways are just like adding fire to fire. And that only creates a much larger fire ...

So one can make the arguement that if one wishes to put out a fire, one should use other methods, such as a shitload of water or something ....

So what is the 'water' that counters this 'fire' of  'terrorism'???

Well, what is terrorism? To paraphrase the dictionary, it's the tactic used to create fear in order to persuade people... I'm thinking the counter for terrorism would have to be the elimination of FEAR. Fear seems to be the oxygen terrorism needs in order to burn.

That brings us to the question, "What is the opposite of fear?" The way I see it, the opposite of fear has to be love. Because i think that all hate stems from some type of fear. Or ignorance. Therefore, fear would have to be the opposite of love. So what is the opposite of ignorance?? Isn't it knowledge, wisdom and understanding? I think so ...

So, having said all that, I would have to conclude that the word counterterrorist must define somebody who practices and promotes love, knowledge, wisdom and understanding in order to counter FEAR...

So don't any of you rat bastards confuse the name as something promoting any sort of violent threat.
