So, it's been awhile since I blogged - go figure. I hate blogging. Although it's nice to update friends on what's happening, I've always found blogging to be such a chore. But, here I am, blogging yet again.



A lot has happened over the past several months... quite a bit of traveling, quite a bit of work - all in all good things. I've been able to reconnect with a lot of friends who are dear to me, and I've been able to piece together some things I've been creating and pondering for awhile.



One of those things is a new record... my first record.



Wheels are currently in motion - several amazing friends of mine are working with me to create not only arresting sounds, but also an intensely beautiful aesthetic. Instead of only trying to track a record, I'm going to be able (with the help of these amazing friends) to create sights and sounds. Some of the most gifted artists I know are planning to be a part of this madness. A slew of musicians, designers, photographers, painters, poets, and philanthropists from all over are helping to make this project something I hope you'll find memorable. I'll try to post photos/videos and updates as things progress.



I'm currently in California. Felton, CA to be exact... a small town in the mountains about an hour south of San Francisco. One of my closest friends (Daniel Dixon) is working on this with me and has opened up his cabin for recording/friends etc. This past week I saw the Pacific for the first time, witnessed my first sea lion, and experienced what the world feels like without humidity - pretty life altering.
