I fell in love today
When you first appeared
My heart pounding in my ears
My tongue swallowed in my feet
Your eyes captivated me
Like a deer to headlights
Your smile could melt the snow
And bring the fallen back to life
My lungs are short of air
You speak so gently
And you knew right then and there
You had my heart in your hands
