Thursday, April 23: FREE HOOP CLASS & FREE HOOPS: (The Watershed, 5040 SE Milwaukee Ave, 6-9 p.m.) – Hoop dance changed my life. There’s no other form of movement that makes me feel more centered, happy and at home in my body. So on my birthday, I’d like to honor the gift that was given to me by giving it to you. Come enjoy a free hoop workshop, complete with free handouts (my stick figure illustrations ROCK) and free hoops, while supplies last. I’m building the hoops this weekend, as many as I can finish. Take one yourself or tell a friend who could benefit from owning a portal into a happier dimension.

6-7: Hoopdance Jumpstart / Ignition … mashup: The best of two Revolva workshops, in order to cater to all levels (beginner to ninja). Please email me if you’re interested in the class so I can get a count; the space may call for a cutoff point.

7-9: Dance Party: Rock out with your hoop out! Or dance. Eat cake. Ben from the Watershed says that if the weather’s nice, he’ll put the burn barrel out back, and we can also chill around the fire. And note to my friends with kids -- you can BYOK, too.
