Just thought I'd update

Some of you may have noticed a little bit of work on our myspace > we're just updating it to keep it fresh and make it look a bit slicker. Please bare with us whilst stuff gets shifted around.

We're working on hard on MORE new tunes at the mo and gearing up for several things.
At the end of the month we're going to record 2 new tracks. One of the tracks 'making progress' will feature a collaboration with DJ S-Unit. The tune has a slight hip-hop feel and we're looking forwards to doing something a bit different. We're not turning into Ndubz just yet but na na niiieeee all the same.

Our new EP > 'shaking that brass' is currently getting sent round the universe for reviews and promotional purposes. We've had one review back so far and it was FAB. We're really chuffed, as is Shirles who penned one of the tracks Eagle Eye. This is his writing debut for Volcanoes and it's a belter. As he continues to write more songs I'm really excited about the extra dynamic it will give to our music + it pure takes some of the pressure off me ;) The EP will be released on itunes and limited edition hard copy in September. It will include 'Temple' 'Eagle Eye' 'What you came for' and Oliver Charles Darwin'. We're taking on the world > just very slowly

Later this month we're playing a gig with Brit Bus Tour in Sheffield. They tour the UK looking for acts, those they choose get to go to the USA and other mint places on a tour of their own. Nice.... Cross your fingers. Also some we're now getting played on American Radio networks thanks to >

I guess they are liking the new EP too. Finally if anyone knows Edith Bowman can you ask her what she intends to do now she has our song uploaded and playing every time you enter her website. Have we made it then! guess not!
