ShyChlo And The Boys
UK hip hop and hardcore rock are not so dissimilar, both have attitudes that say ‘f**k the police’. So it’s no surprise to see Shychlo And The Boys combining the two to create tonight’s performance. The vocals from lead singer Chloe are MC’d with an aggressive and confrontational edge, which is mirrored perfectly by the rest of the band who adopt rock ‘n’ roll style chanting as backing vocals for songs like ‘What you saying bruv’. It’s a good combination and the music has enough of an identity to stand on its own two feet and give a defiant middle finger to the crowd.
