Healing Music Night – May 24th Honors Veterans!
Hi all!
Here are a couple of great shows for May.
As I mentioned in my last email, I’ll only be doing a few live shows this year so
I hope you can make it out to at least one. Joining me for both shows will be
guitarists John DePatie & Jeff Marshall.
*** Cancerpalooza @ Molly Malone’s May 19th at
8:00pm!
Please join me, Brandon Schott, Charlie Lustman, Denise Vasquez & Michael Tiernan
on May 19th at Molly Malone’s for a very special Cancer Charity Event to
benefit I'mTooYoungForThis.org! Brandon, Charlie, Denise and Michael are all
cancer survivors and kick ass musicians! This is going to be a fun and
informative evening. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, even if you
can't attend you can make a donation online. Of course the evening is FREE to
cancer patient survivors! Please visit http://cancerpalooza.i2y.com/ and http://www.imtooyoungforthis.org Please,
please, please buy your tickets as early as possible! If you are a patient
survivor there is a FREE ticket option on the site for you as well. We are also
looking for volunteers to help out on the night of the show so let me know if
you’d like to help!
I’m Too Young For This is an organization
that was founded by concert pianist and composer Matthew Zachary. At the ripe
ole age of 21 Matthew was diagnosed with pediatric brain cancer and told he’d
likely never perform again. Well that was back in 1995 and not only is Matthew
going strong as a musician and performer but he has put together a
comprehensive and collaborative organization and website for adolescents and
young adults and their families who are battling cancer. In fact in 2007, Time
magazine named www.imtooyoungforthis.org one of its Best
50 Websites for that year. I'm Too Young For This connects adolescents and
young adults with tons of great support services and opportunities that people
just don’t know are available.
*** Healing
Music Night @ ISI 3283 Motor Ave. May 24th at 7pm!
This will be my
first time at this event so here is what I'm told: Unravel your stress and
worries as you uplift your spirit at an evening of healing music, poetry and
prayer. The monthly Healing Music Night series is open to all and held at Dr.
LeRoy Perry’s International Sportscience Institute, 3283 Motor Ave., Los
Angeles, 7:00 P.M. A $15 donation suggested. The May 24th show we will be
honoring our military veterans! Also that evening: Cantor Estherleon Schwartz is a spiritual and community leader who
brings all cultures and religions together through her music and poetry
concerts; Theo Chakra is a
musician, singer/songwriter, producer who blends music to heal the spirit and
is the producer of all Cantor Estherleon’s liturgical and classical music; and Howard Richman, M.F.A., is a sound
healing pioneer. Since 1982, he has created more than 3000 individual sound
portraits and composed music for specific conditions. Mr. Richman’s specialty
is to help people break through their most stubborn blocks.
Healing Music Night is presented by House
of Song. ISI is located at 3283 Motor Avenue West Los Angeles, CA 90034. (at
the corner of National Blvd.) Enter the building through the back door under
the GREEN awning and follow the signs upstairs to the second floor gym. For more
information 818-757-0600 or

Please join me for both of these worthy
events! Thanks again for all your support. It is greatly appreciated.
