To join in the celebrations of this year being the 30th anniversary of Gary Numans' seminal album 'The Pleasure Principle' being released and reaching number 1, i have now uploaded for the very first time the Global Citizen version of 'Metal' to help get people in the mood for the forthcoming Touring Principle Tour and this weekends gathering.
Our version was originally recorded and self released in 2003 as a single and on the 2003 Global Citizen album 'Re-generation', neither of which are any longer available.
I had intended to put the track up as a free download but the myspace player free download function still appears to be out of action. If i'm doing something wrong, someone please tell me because it appears to be working on other peoples players and yes, i know you have to tick the box but it ain't working when the track is processed.
we also still play Metal regularly at our live shows.
Anyway, go and listen and hopefully enjoy!
