This week, the Catholic Corporation excommunicated the mother of a 9 year old RAPE victim who was pregnant with twins as a result of the continuous RAPE by her step-father.  Why would they do that, you ask?  Because she had to make the heart wrenching decision to abort the embryos her daughter was carrying as a result of her RAPE.  The Church also excommunicated the 2 doctors who performed the procedure.  The Catholic Church DID NOT excommunicate the man who raped this little girl.  The Archbishop said, "Abortion is a worst crime than Rape".  Remember when the Catholic Church added 7 new sins to their already existing "Deadly Sins" list???  Well, abortion was one of those  new deadly sins, however, the rape of an innocent child was not....nor was rape in general.  They call themselves a Church, but I am going to call 'em like I see 'em.....A bunch Bigots who have bastardized the Bible to further their agenda against all women.  If one can not see that the Doctors and the Mother in this case did the RIGHT thing for this little girl, then there is truly something WRONG in this world.  The Physicians were Catholic, yet made the right decision to help this little girl at great personal cost to themselves.  This kind of selflessness should be what we all strive for, not punished.  Faith and Religion should not be so corrupted that it victimizes a child, who has already survived such evil, by rewarding the monster who took away her innocence.  According to the catholic "church" the rapist is assured a place in Heaven, while the little girl who had an abortion, her mother who allowed it, and heroic doctors who performed it will rot in hell.  Now, does that sound right to anyone of sound mind?
