Just wanted to thank everyone for comming out last friday to the show!! You made it great!! Thanks of course and always to Paul and everyone at Station 58!!! Helping to keep unsigned talent alive in Syracuse!! That's the kind of attitude that gives big names reason to come to town!! Also thanks to Dropclutch!! I hadn't even heard of them but they put on a great set!
Why haven't we been out and aboot as much lately?
Well, i'll tell ya.
BRACE recently went through a bit of an overhaul, and we've decided that this spring we will be putting out an ALL new FULL length CD....with completely new music!! These songs are in my opinion, some of the best and most creative work we've done ever. We wanted to do things that wouldn't be expected. Some of the tunes so far don't go where you think they typically would. And that's the goal.Too much predicatability in the standard -chug chug. Time for something a touch more innovative. And honestly, for Syracuse, this is dangerous. But we can truthfully say the usual musician mantra: we're writing what we think sounds good.
Also, we'll have new merchandise out as well, new T-shirts, new stickers, new for the first time BRACE thongs!! We have revamped our logo a bit as a few of you have seen. It's a new era for BRACE.....and while we'd still like to find a second guitarist, we aren't stopping to wait for that to happen.
So, thanks for the turn-out at EVERY show and keep an ear out for the brand new BRACE CD this spring,.....as well as merch..
