CFM was formed in late October 2008 in Fort Collins, CO. Vocalist Whitney Jackson branded the band 'Cure for Madeline'in rembrance of her daughter, Madeline Tyler, who was stillborn September of 2008. On the rebound of her loss, she partnered with guitarists Ryan Day and Giovanni Bridgeford - all anxious to create original, relatable rock music. Their newest member, drummer Mark Sturdevant, shares their passion. Though each member is unique in their contribution to the project, all share the same vision: To write straight-forward rock that moves people and to have fun while doing it!
