he Cherry City Derby Girls (of Salem Oregon) have an amazing partnership with the Oregon State Fairgrounds, which is where we practice and train 3 times a week. But for the month of August, due to the Fair Schedule and Set-Up, we need a place to skate for the month of August.

We've had no luck finding anything, truth be told. And we've become a little bit desperate. We are in a hard-core training session to prepare for our bout on October 10th, and need a great place to practice for August.

Here are the details: The space needs to have a smooth and/or skateable floor....but that floor could be concrete, linoleum, or wood for that matter. We'd prefer no posts on the floor, though if they were strategically placed we could work around them. We would very much like a bathroom if possible. The floor has to be about 20,000 square feet, though 30,000 would be better overall.

We do have a budget, if it was required. We are also willing to consider a trade-out for a sponsorship.

We need your help!

If you have ideas, that would be incredible. If you have connections, even better.

What the hell is going on with the former-Skate Palace?! Derby Girls should claim it back for what it's purposed for not for the car dealership or whatever else is taking up parking space there!

There is a roller skating rink on highway 99W,  North of Corvallis (South of Monmouth).  I found on the internet.  If you haven't tried it, try calling Lakepark Entertainment Park, 6400 Northwest Highway 99W,  The phone is disconnected.  If you have someone in the area, they might go by and get an "Emergency Phone" off he building, and see if the owner would let you use it. The apparently are out of business.  Good luck
