A lot has happened since the last time we've "blogged"... so in a month by month nutshell, here it is...

Last April we played our very first show (with Ox vs Thunderbird RIP).... and filling in on lead guitar, we had Joe Baugh for a night. It was awesome. In May, Josh Hayes joined the band on lead guitar, and we finally finished up recording the other half of the album. In June, drum maestro Chris Jones joined the band, and like Voltron, Lovebird was finally formed. We played several shows throughout July and August with friends including Franklin for Short, Heather Rae, Cheetahsaurus and Azure Ray.

We just recently finished mixing and mastering the album with Armand John Anthony and Carl Johnson, respectively. Design artist Jeannette Villarreal finished our layout and BAM... we should expect an official release in November. Time to start playing shows.
